Teaching Teams

Bonjour, tout le monde,

It is good to read that things are working out for everyone. You guys have really made this Blog work out as a positive support.

Several among you are legitimately wondering in which grade level you will be working during the coming school year.

This is to let you know that we have not yet decided in which grade-level, or which classroom, you will work because… we just don’t know what’s best yet.

You, as an Intern, will work closely with a Homeroom Teacher. Together, you will become the team in charge of what’s best for our children.

We do not want to “assign you” to a classroom.
We want to create successful teams.
We want to match you, and your skills, with a Homeroom Teacher, so that the team you will form will be the best match possible for the classroom. When Teachers and Interns understand their teaching styles and learning styles, communication, and therefore learning, is enhanced.

To do that, we need to get to know you a little bit. We need to have a feel for your personality type, your skills, your style. Then, we will try & match Homeroom Teachers and Interns personalities in the best interests of all involved.

After you've arrived, we’ll have about two weeks of getting to know each other before we will come up with what we believe will be the best teams possible.

We were able to create great teams last school year, and we plan on doing the same for the coming year.
