Les efforts de mois de procedures administratives vont enfin porter leurs fruits !

Starting tomorrow, you will start arriving in Kansas City, meet your Host Families, and immerse yourself in the local culture and language. Welcome to K.C. ! & Welcome to Académie Lafayette.

Here are some information about the beginning of the school year.

• You will participate, together with the new teachers at A.L., in the New Staff Inservice sessions during the week of 8/10 → 8/14.
• We will meet on Monday 8/10 @ 10:00 am → 3:00 PM
• Tuesday 8/11, we will meet at 8:00 am at A.L. and we will go together to UCM, the University of Central Missouri, where we will participate in some workshops in the AM. In the afternoon, we will come back to A.L. until 4:00 pm
• Wednesday 8/12: we will meet at A.L. from 8:00 am to 4:00 PM. Several sessions will be organized to help you.

This first week of Inservice sessions may present some transportation issues for some of you.
We will solve them as we face them.

We are looking forward to meeting you and welcome you in our school and our community.
A Get-Together for all Interns, their Host families and A.L. Admin. will be organized in a local bar on Thursday 8/13, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, so that we can all get to know each other in an informal setting.
